Part 1: The Storyboard

When I was given this assignment of the specific shots I had to use, I was a little stuck in the creative process of how I should go about ordering these shots. I thought about what my resources were and how much time I had and so I went to work. I went through a couple different timelines but I found one that I liked and that was the most efficient to shoot. Once I figured out what order I should put the shots in, I went to work on the storyboard by crudely illustrating what each shot should look like.

Part 2: The Planning

I decided to stay on campus to make it easy to have more actors and supplies at my disposal. Of course I had Liz help me for the project for her good acting skills and because we are the only advanced projects kids in the class. I found supplies that I would need and places that were easy to film in and I started filming. This part was definitely the shortest part of the project

Part 3: Shooting and Editing the Story

Shooting was very smooth and only took me the block to do. Liz was very good at listening to what I needed her to do in front of the camera as I worked around the variables with filming around school. I grabbed Matt to be the second actor because I know he would be good at listening to what I had to say as well. I gathered around 25 clips for me to use and to work with during editing. Editing was quite easy, but if I had more time, I would love to color correct more of the clips and redo some audio if I were to really put some time into this project. Maybe down the road I will come back to it and tweak it to make it look better.
